Taste Notes - Sencha - Light & Refreshing
A harmonious blend of sweetness, bitterness, richness, astringency and fragrance - this is sencha. It's easy to understand why sencha is such a favorite beverage in Japan, not only for those seeking to quench a thirst, but also for those wanting to sip on something extra special.
Steep with hot water for 90 secondsTo fully draw out sencha's flavor, just let one teabag steep for about one and a half minutes in a cup of boiled water that has been allowed to cool slightly. Move the teabag around in the hot water until it has reached the desired strength, and you're done. Take a little more time than you would when making tea with a teapot in order to draw out the full flavor of this delicious tea.
